Responsibilities Support foundational IT infrastructure improvements via design and implementation of interconnected systems Configure and maintain technology platforms including Okta Identity Provider (IdP), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Use automations, APIs, integrations, and new processes to support business technology needs Design, configure and manage networks in the cloud, on-premises, and a variety of SaaS platforms Enhance system, network, and application observability and telemetry Deliver engineering, technology, and process improvements related to security and compliance operations Respond to outages with a timely and efficient resolution in support of production infrastructure and applications, and support the teams after-hours on-call schedule Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders Mentor and coach junior engineers on the team and across the engineering organization

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Management Information Sciences, telecommunications, or computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Industry certifications such as CISM, Microsoft IAAA, CIAM, CISSP, and Okta Certified Administrator or higher 7+ years of experience leading multiple projects designing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining robust corporate technology platforms Advanced knowledge of Linux and shell/bash scripting and/or coding skills in Powershell, Python, or other equivalent languages. Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is a plus Expert knowledge of Identity management principles in a large-scale corporate environment, including automated identity governance, user access certification, privileged access management and related technologies in Okta or AzureAD Experience with Cisco Meraki, Unifi, and networking best practices including VPN, Site-to-Site routing, SASE, and wireless network configuration in large office environments Knowledge of security best practices in a corporate technology environment including endpoint security and risk management Expert knowledge of configuring identity management, SSO, and third-party provisioning with an IdP through technologies such as SAML (Okta, Azure AD) Experience with engineering practices including agile methodology, change management, technical proposals, and monitoring/alerting Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Okta Workflows, Okta Identity Governance, Ansible, UIPath, or Apache Airflow Experience with infrastructure logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability tools including SIEM technology (e.g. Datadog, Sumo, Sentinel) Basic knowledge of common cloud services in AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, R53) and Azure (AAD, DNS, VM, Blob)

Compensation

The role described above offers a base salary of $120,000 to $165,000 + a bonus incentive. Your offer will be based on location, the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity.
