OverviewWe are seeking an Inside Sales Leader, Small Commercial who is responsible for leading and managing a team of inside sales representatives who specialize in selling commercial insurance policies to small businesses. This role focuses on driving sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team, and ensuring that sales targets are met while fostering a positive and customer-centric team culture. How you'll make an impactLead and manage the inside sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high performance.Set clear sales targets and performance expectations for the team.Monitor individual and team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to improve sales efficiency.Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goalsIdentify target markets, develop prospecting techniques, and implement effective sales processes tailored to small business needsContinuously evaluate and adjust strategies based on market trends, client feedback, and performance metrics.Ensure the team delivers outstanding customer service by promoting a customer-centric approach.Support the team in meeting with potential clients to understand their insurance needs, assess risk profiles, and recommend suitable commercial insurance policies.Assist and educate team members in both new client acquisition and existing client service requirements.Track and analyze sales metrics, including individual and team performance, conversion rates, and revenue generatedProvide regular reports to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. About YouProven experience in sales, preferably in commercial insurance or a related field.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage options.Ability to motivate and encourage a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.Focused on delivering outstanding customer service without losing sight of results and targets.Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement improvements.Required: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years commercial sales experience OR High School degree/GED with 8+ years commercial sales experience. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Insurance licensing required. Proven track record of sales success against company provided sales targets. Prior experience managing to sales performance metrics, detailed forecasting and production reporting. Keen understanding of professional and industry standards/practices as well as small business insurance carriers and wholesalers. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
