Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator I supports the organizations IT infrastructure in addition to technology needs. This position implements, troubleshoots, and manages networks, security systems hardware and software while following industry best practices. Hope Media Group the home of KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida and NGEN radio. This position resides in Nashville, TN.
Essential Functions:
Technical Support Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to enhance support capabilities. Keep all IT system hardware, software, and licenses up to date, including assisting with inventory management of IT assets. Contribute to the development and refinement of IT processes and best practices. Provide IT infrastructure support and assistance to other members of the Technology division, offering leadership to other IT personnel as needed. System Administration
Centrally manage, monitor, maintain, install, and upgrade HMG's systems infrastructure, including both on-premise and cloud environments. Automate systems infrastructure management using code. Perform periodic and routine system maintenance processes, including server patching and updates, to ensure stability and security. Monitor system and network performance (e.g., server health, disk space, backup status, network bottlenecks) and proactively identify issues. Configure, install, and maintain network devices (e.g., Cisco switches and routers for VLANs, port security, basic routing), and troubleshoot WatchGuard Firewalls (e.g., VPN IPSec tunnels, basic rules, security policies). Manage and maintain the Hyper-V virtualized server environment, including VM creation, configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated Faith

Education:
Associate's degree or higher in CS, Information Technology or related field Cisco CCNA certification minimum, CCNP certification preferred Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent Hyper-V/Windows Server certification preferred WatchGuard System Manager (WSM) or WatchGuard Certified Professional (WCP) experience Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. fPowerShell, Python) Experience:
3-5 years of experience providing IT systems administration support. 2-3 years of experience providing IT security support in Cisco, Palo Alto, Watchguard, Snort, etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Spiritually grounded and working knowledge of scriptures.
