Trial Attorney REMOTE FL

Job Description Distinguished B.I. / UM / UIM Insurance Defense Litigation Law Firm with its office in FORT LAUDERDALE is looking for an experienced CIVIL TRIAL Attorney to join their firm REMOTELY! This job is 100% REMOTE - but MUST live in either Miami, Broward or Palm Beach County. IDEAL Candidates have 3+ years experience of Insurance Defense (specifically MVA Defense or UM/UIM Defense in FLORIDA) and have taken AT LEAST 4 cases to Jury Trial (actually tried case, didn\'t settle pre-trial). Job Duties Drafting initial pleadings, written discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediation, and trial. Preparing expert witnesses for depositions, taking expert witness depositions, meeting with clients, drafting responses to demand letters, attending court hearings, substantive motions, preparing and arguing MSJs, complex legal research & writing, drafting status reports to the clients, billable hours, settlement negotiations, and managing all files assigned to you. Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload autonomously. Should be highly independent, organized and able to multi-task. Benefits
