Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity Playing a critical role as a Biomarker Operations and Sample Management Specialist within Translational Medicine, the position provides biomarker operational expertise, develops scope of work, and maintains effective working relationships with cross-functional teams for phase three clinical trials. Responsibilities

Provide expertise in sample tracking processes for clinical trials. Contribute knowledge of RAVE Electronic Data Capture System and Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Systems; experience is highly desirable. Manage team members and work independently to complete all sample-related tasks to ensure high sample quality delivery for testing labs. Investigate and resolve biospecimen sample inconsistencies or missing information as needed. Required Skills, Experience and Education

Life sciences degree (BS or MS) in scientific, medical, healthcare, or related discipline. 3+ years of related professional experience in a clinical research setting or clinical/diagnostic laboratory. Phase 3 clinical trials experience is highly desired. Excellent scientific and business communication skills, strong interpersonal/collaboration skills, and planning skills. Familiarity with project management/collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence) is recommended. Familiarity with sample inventory or LIMS systems is a plus. Experience applying data analysis approaches (Python, R, or similar) to streamline clinical sample workflows is a plus. Ability to think critically and work independently to determine resources for problem resolution; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and willingness to listen and engage with others. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with Project Management tools is desirable. Prior experience in clinical biospecimen and/or sample query management in phase three clinical trials is highly desirable. Employment Type and Additional Details This is a contract position that will be employed through a third-party recruiting agency.
