SAP Data Migration Consultant - U.S. Citizenship Required Position Description
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Overview CGI is looking for experienced SAP Data Migration Consultants to work with clients and project teams to develop MDM and Data Migration solutions for a Greenfield migration to SAP S/4HANA from legacy or other systems. The position is located in CGI Federal offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN. A hybrid model is acceptable, with in-office work required two days per week. Responsibilities
Deliver client services, driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Plan data stream work, lead a team with diverse skills (local and offshore), provide status updates, log and escalate risks/issues/decisions, and participate in program governance. Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes. Analyze business requirements (functional and technical), information needs, and business processes through client sessions. Document an accurate understanding of business requirements and deliver artefacts aligned with SAP business processes. Work closely with business decision makers and end users. Lead clients through data concepts such as Data Stewards, Data Governance, Mock Load, Data Objects, Data Owners, etc. Recommend appropriate data migration strategies. Assist in developing methodologies, tools, approaches, and accelerators. Required Qualifications
Due to the nature of government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship. 5-10 years of SAP Master Data Management experience. 3-5+ years in SAP end-to-end implementations; data migration experience within SuccessFactors is a plus. Understanding of data load methods/ETL tools such as SAP BODS, LSMW, LTMC, etc. Experience in data management including leading the data migration execution: cleansing, extracting, staging, transforming, loading, validation, and defect resolution. Data profiling and cleansing approach expertise. Design and leadership of mock loads and data validation cycles. Understanding of leading practices for data governance, center of excellence/shared services structures, and data governance processes/procedures. Experience facilitating cross-functional teams with complex schedules. Team lead expertise in stream planning, status reporting, governance, budget management, and escalation of risks/issues/changes. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Compensation and Benefits A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $209,100.00.
