We work side by side with Emerging Pharma clients to help build their organizations, develop products, determine commercialization strategies, get life-changing drugs into patients’ hands, and accelerate business performance. We represent the breadth of ZS offerings, advising our clients based on ZS’s collective years of industry experience, coupled with our deep understanding of the unique needs of this innovative segment of the pharma industry.

What You’ll Do

Manage projects with emerging pharma clients including product launch planning, brand strategy, forecasting, customer insights, etc.

Works with clients who have broad, cross-functional responsibilities to help them make strategic choices about their business and/or transform their organization

Lead discussions with client senior management on both client-specific matters and issues affecting the broader healthcare landscape

Communicates interrelated business issues with senior executives and align stakeholders across functions

Address situations without clear problem statements to find new solutions and/or disruptive innovation

Build and nurture senior level client relationships

Structure and develop client deliverables in PowerPoint, including "telling the story" with supporting analysis in a clear and effective manner

Drive project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetings and guiding and teaching more junior team members

Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects, practices and clients

Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for project team members

Drive business and strategy development

Integrate within our values driven culture as a team player

What You’ll Bring

MBA or an advanced degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied math, statistics, or related fields. Alternatively, candidates may possess a PhD in life sciences, health economics, decision sciences or related field with a business application

At least 4 years of post-MBA or PhD work experience; in lieu of an MBA or PhD, candidates with 7-9 years of relevant work experience in a management consulting firm may be considered

Demonstrated experience in supporting or leading pharma product launches

Record of successful and continued business development

Ability to communicate interrelated business issues with senior executives

Problem-solving skills to address situations without clear problem statements to find new solutions and/or disruptive innovation

Aptitude for and enjoyment of leading and managing teams

Enjoys fast-paced work environments

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset

Multi-disciplinary agility with general management skillset

Expertise in macro industry and/or functional trends

Exhibits strong business intuition and ability to quickly learn and shape executive agenda

English fluency preferred
