Role Description We are seeking a Cloud Application Developer to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Cloud Application Developer will design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications that power our global operations. This role requires strong experience with Azure services, containerization (Docker, ACA, AKS), and cloud-native application design. You will be responsible for full-stack development, backend integrations, and ensuring high standards of scalability, security, monitoring, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that support Komatsus mission of building a more sustainable future. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. Build and deploy containerized solutions using Docker, Azure Container Apps (ACA), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Develop APIs and integrate with cloud services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Cosmos DB. Implement logging, monitoring, and performance tuning using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Dynatrace. Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across development and production environments. Collaborate with front-end developers, backend engineers, architects, and DevOps teams on solution design and implementation. Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for high performance. Support continuous improvement by staying up to date with emerging cloud technologies, full-stack frameworks, and DevOps practices. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Software Developer with strong programming skills (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or Node.js). Proficiency in databases and integration technologies (SQL, Cosmos DB, REST APIs, messaging). Experience with cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure. Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, and cloud deployment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Dynatrace). Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and global teams. Seniority level
