Administrative Cashier Assistant

Johnson County Community College is seeking an Administrative Cashier Assistant for part-time temporary, non-exempt work. The position is located in Overland Park, Kansas and operates Monday-Friday, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, totaling 12 hours per week. The pay range is $15.34, with partial benefits available. The position summary includes counting over 28 cash drawers daily, rebuilding cash drawers for retail and catering, preparing deposits, identifying overage/shortage, scanning invoices, filing, and digitizing invoices. Additionally, the role involves performing dining services duties such as preparing, stocking, and serving food safely and accurately according to local, state, and departmental guidelines. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass ServeSafe Certification once employed. Preferred qualifications involve an application, resume, and/or cover letter. Unofficial transcripts are required for all adjunct faculty and faculty positions. Job duties include counting dining cash drawers, rebuilding new drawers, and preparing deposits for review, scanning invoices, filing, digitizing existing paper files, and other duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed as required by business necessity.
