The role focuses on on-time delivery of planned and ad-hoc requests from external and internal clients. The Principal Analyst will plan projects, manage client expectations and continuously optimize the business models for faster, feasible, and quality deliverables. Responsibilities

Clinical and Operations

Lead discussions with clinical, operations and analytics teams to gather, validate, document, and present operations metrics, clinical understanding, and trend studies to ensure accuracy and timeliness of dashboards. Guide Cancer Network members with standardized data definitions and structured data export processes. Explore technology solutions to streamline data transfer, validation, visualizations, and other bottlenecks. Support leadership with metrics for strategizing and catalyzing market growth; understand disease site workflows to inform strategic business analysis.

Business Intelligence

Lead/conduct strategic business intelligence using AI-driven solutions to mine and analyze large data volumes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI models and algorithms. Design and implement data-driven solutions to address complex business problems; publish results as presentations and reports. Analyze service line programs, market dynamics, competition, and forecast scenarios; provide strategic recommendations. Collaborate with internal and external customers for feedback and approvals; leverage published data from open and paid sources. Utilize BI tools, data visualization, Excel and other applications to develop reports, business plans and other deliverables; ensure deliveries meet negotiated timelines.

Quality Control and Subject Matter Expertise

Lead or assist in quality control of strategic market research deliverables; ensure output meets oncology domain expertise for leadership and clients. Provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Provide subject matter expertise in Clinical/Research, Cancer Registry, SEER, Disease Sites and BI tool repositories (e.g., Advisory Board, Sg2). Create/modify predictive analytics modeling to forecast market demand based on disease sites, demography, providers, payer mix, and other data. Other duties as assigned.

Education

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care or related field. Experience

Required:

Nine years of related program development or project management experience, including five years of progressive experience in data analysis and predictive analytics. Preferred:

Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in healthcare data analytics and project management. Technology/Tools

Proficiency in AI and machine learning technologies. Expertise in Big Data analytics tools and techniques. Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI). Familiarity with complex dashboard creation and management. License/Certification
