This is an exciting opportunity to take over a $30 practice group and book of SIU Insurance Fraud and RICO litigation. The practice group leader had been promoted to director, and he is looking for an experienced Insurance Fraud attorney to take over his book of business and eventually the practice group of 100+ people.
You would be working on exciting cases involving accident staging, arson, medical providers conspiring to defraud insurance companies, ransomware attacks, and other complex litigation. This is a hybrid role that can sit in Long Island, Philadelphia, or New Jersey. Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Job Details This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Insurance Fraud Litigation Attorney to join our Insurance Fraud SIU division of our AMLaw 200 firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating and prosecuting insurance fraud cases. This role requires 7+ years of experience in SIU, Insurance Fraud, and RICO litigation. This is taking over a book for a practice group leader who was promoted to Director. He plans to help transition over his substantial book of business and eventually have this person take over the 100+ person division.
Responsibilities
Investigate and litigate insurance fraud cases, including conducting in-depth research, interviewing witnesses, and collecting evidence.
Prepare and present cases in court, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and arguing cases before judges and juries.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance fraud matters.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure effective case management.
Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance law and related legal areas.
Develop and implement strategies to prevent insurance fraud.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance fraud litigation.
Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction.
Experience with RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) cases is required.
Proven track record of successfully litigating insurance fraud cases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes in a fair and efficient manner.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Willingness to travel as required for case investigation and trial preparation.
