The Manufacturing Quality Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the quality assurance and control processes across all TNA manufacturing operations. This position ensures that products meet both internal and external quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and meet customer expectations. Working closely with the manufacturing operations quality and engineering teams, the Director will drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement quality control procedures to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s quality management strategy in alignment with business objectives. Lead through influence and mentor the quality teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, R&D, and supply chain, to embed quality into all aspects of manufacturing. Quality Systems & Compliance: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, and other relevant regulatory standards. Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to national and international quality standards, as well as company-specific policies. Lead audits (internal and external) and manage relationships with regulatory agencies, customers, and certification bodies. Continuous Improvement: Support local operations teams driving initiatives to improve product quality, reduce waste, and enhance manufacturing efficiency. Utilize root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA) to resolve/prevent quality issues. Utilize Six Sigma, 12 step or similar methodologies to improve quality and operational performance. Data Analysis & Reporting: Oversee quality data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of key quality metrics (KPIs). Provide senior leadership with insights into trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes. Customer & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for technical quality-related customer complaints, ensuring timely investigation and resolution. Maintain timely communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding quality performance and improvements. QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience
10+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience implementing DFMEA, QFD & other robust design processes. Proven track record of managing quality systems in compliance with ISO, GMP, or similar standards. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies. What We Offer
