Define clients’ Procurement vision, transformation roadmaps and business case. Design and build next-generation operating models and capabilities for procurement and supply chain functions. Embed digital, data, and AI solutions at the core of procurement and related operations. Accelerate tangible value creation by leading cost and profitability programs across direct, Capex and indirect spend, using levers such as strategic sourcing, value engineering and business transformation. Address priority enterprise-wide issues with Supply Chain & Procurement strategies that can be executed with speed and at scale. Responsibilities as a member of the Sourcing & Procurement Strategy practice
Manage small to medium-sized teams with diverse backgrounds, skills, and knowledge. Mentor and coach others, and collaborate with internal and external partners. Support client sales origination, business development, and external thought leadership. Contribute to community impact initiatives and travel as needed, up to 80%. What you need
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement Transformation and cost optimization initiatives (Strategic Sourcing and Procurement). Minimum of 7 years of experience at a consulting firm or 10 years of internal consulting or equivalent role in a non-consulting company. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Bonus points if
Deep specialization in procurement or third-party / vendor cost takeout initiatives; direct material optimization (including value analysis/value engineering) or operating model transformation. Experience across End-to-End Supply Chain or Procurement transformation programs in a leading role. Strong relationship-building, program oversight, and team leadership skills. MBA or equivalent graduate degree. Functional understanding of digital and AI solutions in Supply Chain & Procurement (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa). Experience with data analytics tools and visualization/analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx; Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics). Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
