$125,000 to $140,000 Luxor is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will drive significant growth through new product development (NPD) over the next several years. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the product development roadmap, delivering on the platform vision, and leading the team to bring new products to market. The role includes identifying innovation opportunities, market research, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, VOC (voice of the customer), and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include involvement in downstream NPD activities such as financial modeling and VOC-driven feature decisions, analyzing market conditions to optimize the existing technology portfolio and future products, and guiding cross-functional teams to create innovative, competitively priced, and user-friendly products that enhance consumer experience and loyalty. The role also involves managing product portfolios, lifecycle, pricing, and supporting product launches with Marketing and Quality/Compliance considerations. The Manager will lead internal and external design teams, collaborate with suppliers, and integrate creative thinking across Luxor to support product development programs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Portfolio Strategy Development
Drive high-growth product portfolio strategies with the business team and senior management. Envision, document, and execute short- and long-term innovation roadmaps for the Luxor family of brands. Continuously evaluate industry trends, end-user insights, competitive analysis, and marketing requirements. Analyze product sales against budgets and forecasts, identify trends, and recommend actions. Conduct competitive benchmarking and analysis for key product categories. Apply Design Thinking tools and processes; develop consumer/product segmentations and personas. Generate innovative ideas aligned to company goals and brand strategy; synthesize market and user research data. Collaborate with stakeholders to set goals and priorities for the product roadmap.
New Products
Gather requirements, prioritize features, and improve user experience. Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve the product vision; evaluate project health and scope. Identify market needs for new products, line extensions, and categories; assess cost reduction opportunities. Establish business cases with features, value proposition, financial metrics, go-to-market requirements, and timelines. Work with Sales/Marketing to define go-to-market strategy and product positioning; support Marketing with collateral and communications. Track product development schedules and lead presentations to leadership for next steps. Incorporate environmental, regulatory, competitive trends into development programs; manage end-of-life decisions with proper transition details.
Job Requirements Interdepartmental collaboration with NPD, Purchasing, and other teams. Participation in industry/trade shows and events. Support Marketing and NPD teams with market insights, product materials, and campaigns as needed. Travel to customer meetings as needed; perform other duties as required. Skills and Abilities Required Goal-oriented, proactive self-starter; strong time management. Familiarity with market research, consumer behavior, and marketing techniques. Effective written and verbal communication; solid data analysis skills; strong organizational skills. Collaborative team player with solid business acumen and problem-solving skills. Experience with NPD processes for durable goods and technology products; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience preferred. Ability to travel 5-10% or as required. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred; MBA a plus. Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in Product Management, Marketing, and/or Marketing Research with consumer products in B2B or B2C environments. Computer Equipment and Software Proficiency with Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP/CRM systems preferred. Ability to perform hands-on data analysis using data tools for product sales, inventory, and market data.
