Your Key Responsibilities Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional audit activities for our clients. Skills And Attributes For Success

Leading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements

Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills

Engaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions

Continuously developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues

Understanding our clients’ unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business, with approximately 2 years’ work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm

US CPA licensure in your work state

Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits in the Banking & Capital Markets sector

Working knowledge of US GAAP

Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management

Flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary

Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is recommended as ride share/public transportation options may not be available in all locations

Ideally, you’ll also have

Knowledge of current market issues in the Banking & Capital Markets sector in the US

Comprehensive compensation and benefits based on performance. Base salary ranges: US-wide $79,200–$130,600; NYC Metro/WA/CA (excluding Sacramento) $95,000–$148,500. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options.

Hybrid working model: most client-serving roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over a project or year.
