Position Summary Radiant Logistics is seeking a skilled SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team, supporting the SAP ECC system and related applications and integrations. In this role, you will act as the SAP FICO product owner, responsible for managing the product vision, maintaining and improving financial and controlling processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision and Strategy: Define the overall vision and strategy for the SAP FICO module, aligning with organizational goals.
System Functionality Reviews: Perform system functionality reviews to ensure new solutions do not negatively impact the business.
System Support and Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support for SAP ECC, focusing on Financials and Controlling (FICO); investigate and resolve issues related to financial processes to minimize disruption.
Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP FICO to align with business requirements; collaborate with users to implement effective SAP solutions.
Enhancements and Upgrades: Lead or participate in SAP ECC enhancement projects; coordinate testing and implementation of upgrades.
User Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver end-user training; maintain documentation for SAP FICO processes and procedures.
Financial Reporting: Design and generate financial reports using SAP reporting tools; ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams; communicate updates and system enhancements to stakeholders; manage AMS vendors and Radiant offshore team; may mentor junior personnel.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO functional consulting.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Cost Accounting, Profitability Analysis).
Working knowledge of SAP system architecture, integration points, and data models.
Experience in SAP ECC upgrades, enhancements, and release planning.
Experience working within agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and manage stakeholder relationships.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
