About the role As the Head of Product at Tapestry, you will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our innovative solutions designed to bring the electric grid into the age of intelligence. You will lead a high‑performing product team to execute Tapestry’s bold vision, translating moonshot thinking into tangible, impactful products that transform energy systems globally.
How you’ll make 10x impact
Collaborate with Tapestry’s executive team to define and champion a bold product vision and strategy for Tapestry, aligning with the critical needs of the electric grid to accelerate electricity network development and reliable, affordable, climate‑friendly energy.
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and technical development to successful launch and iteration, ensuring our products are scalable, reliable, and user‑centric.
Recruit, mentor, and grow a world‑class team of product managers and leaders, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and impact.
Collaborate intensely with cross‑functional teams including researchers, engineers, data scientists, policy experts, and external partners to integrate cutting‑edge AI and machine learning into practical grid solutions.
Establish and maintain a data‑driven product development process, leveraging quantitative insights, user research, and market analysis to inform prioritization, guide roadmap decisions, and measure product success against key performance indicators for grid transformation.
Champion AI safety and ethical development within Tapestry's products, ensuring our solutions contribute positively and responsibly to the future of the electric grid.
Collaborate on go‑to‑market strategies for new products and features, working closely with business development and policy teams to ensure successful adoption and widespread impact across the energy sector.
Represent Tapestry as a public face for our product efforts, engaging with industry stakeholders, partners, and the broader community to advocate for our solutions and the future of the electric grid.
What you should have
Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in platform development that addresses the needs of a complex set of stakeholders
5+ years of experience leading and scaling product teams (10+ individuals)
Proven track record of defining and delivering complex, impactful technical products from conception to launch
Track record of exceptional contributions to strategy, including a humble approach to learning a new industry
Experience in AI/ML product development, particularly in applications related to optimization and prediction
Experience driving research agendas and subsequently productizing research
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Passion for modernizing the electric grid and unlocking growth and decarbonization through innovative technology
It’d be great if you had these
Strong understanding of the energy sector, electric grid operations, and/or renewable energy technologies
Familiarity with regulatory landscapes and policy frameworks relevant to the electric grid
Track record of successful public speaking or technical writing in the energy or technology sectors
Compensation : The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $320,000 - $480,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
