As a Security Professional - Armed Driver Patrol in Edinburgh, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. In this armed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. This role requires carrying a concealed weapon and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities, so a valid driver's license and concealed carry permit are necessary. You will interact with visitors and staff, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Friday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols. Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific requirements. Support Allied Universal and client leadership by following all post orders and instructions relevant to the armed patrol post. Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents as required by the location. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required. A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
