As Vice President, Workplace Investing (WI) – Fidelity Consulting, you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategy consulting projects on behalf of the WI business, which includes Fidelity’s retirement and healthcare benefits business lines. Projects aim to solve critical business issues, and your thought leadership, team management, and client relationships help shape the future of the WI business. You are an integral member of the Fidelity Consulting (FC) management team, contributing to the strength of the group. Responsibilities
Lead strategic projects critical to the WI business, typically staffed with three to six associates over a four-to-six-month timeframe. Scope projects, lead and manage workstreams, and partner with Wealth business leaders to drive successful outcomes. As a VP, help scope, lead, and manage deliverables and collaborate with WI and Fidelity leadership to drive results. Develop insights and strategic recommendations, and support the development of new retirement and healthcare benefits strategies or products/services. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior executives and influence decision-making with data-driven insights. The Team Fidelity Consulting (FC) consists of approximately 100 strategy consultants aligned to business units or working across projects as needed, addressing strategic challenges with rigorous analysis and provocative points of view. The Expertise You Have
Demonstrated interest or experience in the financial services industry with knowledge of retirement and/or healthcare benefits, customers, and related products and services. Experience in retirement or healthcare benefits with direct customer, product, or service involvement. Significant consulting experience with multiple years in a project manager role and client/c Partner counseling, preferably with a top-tier firm. Outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to lead and contribute to teams with flexibility and skill. MBA degree or equivalent degree/experience is preferred. The Skills You Bring
Experience with project and team management, including strategy development, evaluation of retirement or healthcare benefits products/services, and business transformation. Deep understanding of retirement and healthcare benefits market dynamics, competition, products, offerings, and customer trends. Knowledge of defined contribution, defined benefit, stock plan services, and health benefit administration. Ability to synthesize analysis into strategic insights and practical recommendations across strategic, financial, and operational analyses, including primary/secondary research. Ability to influence and provide strategic guidance to senior management through interactions and written conclusions. Capability to foster collaboration between WI and broader Fidelity teams and to assess risk and operationalize findings. Proficiency in quantifying challenges and managing execution requirements; ability to lead multiple projects concurrently. Strong relationship-building with peers and executives; interest in people development and mentoring. The Value You Deliver

Interacting with senior Fidelity associates to gather data, build consensus, and secure buy-in from key partners. Directing analyses including market analysis, internal capability assessments, competitor intelligence, customer research, product assessment, and financial modeling. Developing insights to inform retirement and healthcare benefits strategies or product/services, and improving business processes with the WI team.
