Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below. Our team is looking to add a Project Controls Analyst to its team responsible for award-winning projects. As a key member of our Project Management Team, you’ll perform client management / interfacing / updates / presentations at all levels of management. You’ll partner with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation / opportunities. Jacobs Engineering Group utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence. You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact. Specifically, we’ll look for you to thoroughly understand the principles of cost control and estimating. You will proactively monitor and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs/labor hours for projects. Using your expertise, you’ll create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate schedule status and identify critical path. Additionally, there will be opportunities to develop and maintain productive cross-discipline relationships within the project team. 3-4 years of scheduling experience, proficient in P6 schedule analysis and reporting. Construction experience preferred; experience on complex projects $25M and above is a plus. Ability to build a schedule from scratch after coordinating with engineering, project management, and construction teams. Ability to explain variances, delays, and to track and monitor contractor schedules. Cost analysis and SAP experience is a bonus. Must be local to the San Ramon/Oakland/San Jose/Monterey Areas, and able to go to the office as needed. Seniority level
