Overview Dykema’s Chicago office seeks an attorney with 7+ years of lending experience for our Corporate Finance practice group. The ideal candidate will focus on financing transactions, with significant experience representing lenders in acquisition financings, recapitalizations and restructurings, and with opinions and UCC filings. The candidate should be comfortable running lending deals from beginning to end with limited supervision. A working knowledge of general corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and capitalization, corporate governance issues, shareholder agreements, customer agreements and day-to-day operations, is a plus. The attorney will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients at all levels. There may be flexibility with title based on experience level. No portable business is required. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Admission to practice in IL is required; NY license (or ability to waive in) is a plus. The salary range for this position is expected to start at $218,000 and may vary based on skills and experience level.
