Oracle Tech Lead – Integrations & Custom Extension
Position Summary Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions across Oracle Cloud modules (Finance, HCM, Supply Chain, Oracle Field Service, and Projects) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Build custom extensions to support functionality not available out of the box using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service (PCS). Lead and manage an offshore development team and work closely with the solution architect and functional leads to define scalable, secure, and high-performing technical designs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the integration strategy and execution across Oracle Cloud modules using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Collaborate with solution architect and functional leads to design scalable and secure integration architecture.
Own and manage the integration RICEW inventory, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, and other Oracle-native methods.
Design and build custom extensions to Oracle Cloud applications using VBCS, PCS, and related tools.
Lead and manage an offshore development team, ensuring timely and quality delivery of integration and extension components.
Define and enforce build and deployment standards, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
Ensure integrations and extensions meet performance, security, and governance standards.
Support testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) and troubleshoot technical issues.
Document integration and extension designs, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud technical implementations with a focus on integrations.
Proven expertise in designing and building integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud integration patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, and event-based messaging.
Experience in building custom extensions using Oracle VBCS, PCS.
Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP technical areas, including:
Oracle Data Model
OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
BICC (BI Cloud Connector)
Experience leading offshore development teams in a global delivery model.
Ability to collaborate effectively with solution architects and functional leads.
Familiarity with Oracle Field Service Cloud and Project Portfolio Management is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
Experience with data conversion strategies is a plus.
Prior experience in large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
Complementary Skills
Project Management Basics (Agile/Scrum) – PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
Certifications
Oracle certification in Oracle Integration Cloud (preferred not required)
Notes Contract starts at 3 months and is extendable up to 2 years. Position is remote but the team prefers contractors on the East Coast because the client works East Coast hours. Travel is 25% to Miami.
