Network Engineer IV

Position: Network Engineer IV Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Onsite Requirement: Hybrid 12 month initial contract, potential to extend up to 30 months Description: 3 days a week mandatory in the office (Tues/Wed/Thurs-days are subject to change) Location/Travel: Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Work Days: 3 days a week mandatory in the office (Tues/Wed/Thurs-days are subject to change) Work Hours: 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch assumed, hours shift as needed for meetings/responsibilities) Job Description: Assists in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems Performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques Perform testing and diagnostic procedures on equipment according to published equipment standards with support Perform monitoring of vendor activities, and remote monitoring of other teleports when necessary Monitor service level and take appropriate action to maintain Coordinate the testing and turn up of service with all involved parties Deep expertise in Ericsson LTE, 5GNR, mmWave, CBAND systems, and legacy RBS platforms; Proficient in RF engineering, CRAN/DRAN, DAS, small cells, and fiber optical systems Skilled in backhaul transport with Nokia and Cisco Layer 2/3 routers, as well as advanced troubleshooting of RF, PIM, fiber, and power systems Known for building strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors, and for creating efficient, safe, and scalable deployment solutions Analyzed SAs, MAs, RFDSs, and CIQs to define project scopes, generate accurate BOMs, and streamline project deliveries Critical Skills: -FUZE experience -Ericsson EMN experience -Project Management soft skills -Vendor Management experience -Confident with computer programs, mainly excel/Google Sheets Certifications: OSHA30 Construction Safety and Health Certificate JMA PowerBoost Installation, Provisioning & Maintenance Training 5G RAN Ericsson Technical Training CBAND Ericsson Technical Training Moshell - Ericsson Technical Training WCDMA RAN Field Maintenance - Ericsson Technical Training RT2 GSM Radio Tester Certificate Certificate of Installation Workmanship Assessment Apex Benefits Overview: Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
