Our team, Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. The Work: Integrating JEMINI Lab test suites in our development and test environments Assisting software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems Creating and modifying scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data Troubleshooting both test and prototype issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary, and represent the Integration team Automating scripting to configure and maintaining remote hosts Please Note: This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level prior to start; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. The role may involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America's missile defense. Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). You will have opportunities to interface directly with key customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). At C2BMC, you will work alongside a talented team of technical professionals, including software and systems engineers, architects, and project engineering teams at our Huntsville facility. Basic Qualifications: An Active DoD Final Clearance is required for this position Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues Knowledge of virtualized environments, including configuration and management Experience with software testing and integration of system components within test environments Familiarity with security design and implementation principles Desired Skills: Advanced experience working with Linux operating systems Proficiency in bash and Python scripting High-level understanding of automation concepts and implementation Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
