Deliver individual speech therapy sessions that emphasize communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to ensure seamless care strategies. Educate patients and families to enhance therapeutic progress outside the clinical environment. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing continuity of care throughout the patient journey. Ensure that all patient documentation is accurate and compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in speech therapy through continuous education and peer interaction. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
Current state licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills
