Director, Information Technology Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented

Payment Gateway Project Manager

to join our team. This role will focus on managing and optimizing our payment processing systems, supporting both internal business stakeholders and external vendors. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of payment technologies, is PMO-certified, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for payment gateway integrations, upgrades, and enhancements. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, operations, and third-party payment providers. Serve as the primary point of contact for client/stakeholder communications related to payment projects. Ensure all projects align with PMO standards and reporting frameworks. Monitor and troubleshoot payment processing issues, working with internal support and external vendors. Analyze payment transaction trends, failures, and performance metrics to drive improvements. Maintain clear project documentation, risk logs, and compliance tracking. Qualifications 35 years

of experience in project management, preferably in the

payment processing

space PMO Certification

(e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is required. Proven experience in a

client-facing role , handling external vendors or enterprise clients. Strong understanding of

payment gateways, tokenization, fraud detection , and transaction flows. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the fitness, retail, or subscription-based business models. Experience with recurring billing, membership platforms, or ERP systems. SQL or data analysis knowledge for transaction reporting is a plus.
