Job Title: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatrics Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARDMS RDCS, BCLS, CCI RCS preferred Must-Have: Proficient in performing echocardiograms for pediatric patients, including those under 1 year old. Ability to perform structural echocardiograms is a plus. Familiarity with protocols and competencies to be evaluated within 1-2 days. Experience with Phillips and Siemens equipment. Proficient in various procedures including Bubble Study and Pharmacologic Stress Echo. Description: The pediatric sonographer should have experience with both inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms. The role requires performing neonatal echocardiograms. Successful candidates will be expected to float between multiple locations based on patient needs. Weekend shifts will be rotating every 4th to 6th weekend with potential additional on-call requirements. On-call hours may extend from 4 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and include weekends. The candidate must transport themselves between locations as travel will be required. Daily patient caseload will typically be around 7 echo studies per 8-hour shift. All sonographers will work with both pediatric and adult patients. Candidates should have a background in performing both routine and advanced echocardiograms.
