The Pharmacist Specialty Services is a vital role within the MultiCare pharmacy department. Performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions, this position acts as a support system, providing both guidance and education to patients and families. Responsibilities Perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resources Process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics Determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay assistance and medication assistance programs when appropriate Requirements Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other) Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $75.16 - $101.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
