Lead IT Systems Administrator

to join our team in

Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing end-user support to personnel utilizing ITD IT systems.

Triaging help desk tickets for a broad range of service requests to include file transfers, assistance with desktops and peripheral equipment, account management, and other user-focused incidents.

Installation, accountability, maintenance, and decommission of physical desktop, data center equipment and other IT assets.

Performing general operations & maintenance for COTS/GOTS hardware and software.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline and seven (7) years of relevant experience in Information Technology.

In lieu of a Bachelors: Associates degree and 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology.

Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+, SSCP, or equivalent) or ability to obtain one within 180 days.

Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience providing help-desk end-user support for common desktop and server issues.

Experience installing and configuring physical equipment.

Ability to provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations and architectures.

Experience and ability to perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.

Experience with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 and system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) procedures/processes.

Experience writing clear, concise, and user-friendly technical and training manuals or similar documentation.

Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
