Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite)
Our team is looking for a
Supplier Quality Engineer
to join us and play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards across our supplier base. You will report directly to the
Quality Compliance Manager
and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external suppliers. What Youll Bring Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or materials management 2+ years of experience in a supplier quality role Experience with First Article Inspections (FAIs) 5+ years of experience in an aircraft or aerospace environment () Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge () CQE or CQA certification a plus What Youll Do Address supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions Define, implement, and maintain supplier quality procedures and protocols Manage the supplier approval process and maintain the approved supplier database Conduct supplier audits and on-site assessments as required Qualify new suppliers based on quality assurance requirements Implement and manage supplier control plans, APQP, PPAP, and FAI requirements Develop and monitor supplier scorecards and rating programs Plan, organize, and conduct vendor reviews Interpret and communicate requirements effectively to the supplier base Review purchase orders for production materials Manage nonconforming material processes from receiving inspection back to suppliers Analyze product failure data and lab results to identify material and process causes Benefits Comprehensive medical insurance Competitive PTO, holiday pay, and sick leave 401K plan with up to 4% matched contribution Annual bonus program (performance-based) Flexible working arrangements Paid volunteering opportunities Access to mental health champions across sites Career development support Employee referral program
