Description:
This role will include diagnostic radiology and mammography
The ideal candidate will perform high-quality mammography exams for breast cancer screening and diagnosis while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.
This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree requiredin Radiologic Technology or a related field
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
CE credits required (CE credits that were taken by the Mammo Tech to maintain their license)
Licensing/Certification:
A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
ARRT Mammography (M) certification required or eligibility to obtain
Post primary certification in mammography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
