Summary

We are currently representing a growing mechanical contractor looking to bring on an experienced and proactive HVAC Project Manager. The role will focus on managing HVAC and mechanical scopes for commercial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on scheduling, procurement, and cross-team coordination. This opportunity is ideal for someone with technical HVAC knowledge and hands-on project leadership experience in the mechanical trades.

Key Responsibilities: •Support project execution in coordination with the Senior Project Manager •Manage RFI and submittal processes, tracking documentation and ensuring timely responses •Coordinate HVAC equipment and material procurement, and monitor delivery schedules •Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficiency •Conduct quality control inspections and verify compliance with project specifications •Interpret mechanical drawings and coordinate technical issues with engineers and other trades •Enforce on-site building and safety regulations among all project participants •Create and maintain detailed project schedules and milestone timelines •Supervise field crews and subcontractors, addressing project issues as they arise •Provide project updates and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders •Manage closeout procedures, client handoff, and final documentation

Qualifications: •Previous experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in HVAC or mechanical construction •Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and commercial construction practices •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) •Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations •Proficiency with Excel and construction management tools such as Procore or Buildertrend •Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills •PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
