Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site support and maintenance on HVAC, metal fabrication equipment and systems. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance and repair of equipment at customers' locations throughout the tri-state area. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues. Utilize diagnostic tools, including a multimeter, to assess equipment functionality and troubleshoot electronics. Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs and customer interactions. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance and reliability. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as a multimeter. Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of electrical systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
