Assistant General Manager
Ampler dba Taco Bell is seeking an Assistant General Manager. This position operates under the direct management of the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and helps lead the restaurant team. This position interacts with restaurant team members, the General Manager, outside vendors, members of the field operations team, and guests. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in ensuring delivery on guest satisfaction through managing the daily operations of a single restaurant. The AGM helps manage financial controls, operations, people development, guest service, and compliance across shifts for desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The AGM has full accountability for restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager (RGM). An AGM should be able to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant. Responsibilities include ensuring consistent customer satisfaction, developing people, demonstrating leadership and culture, making decisions, communicating effectively, recognizing team members, and managing time. The AGM also acts like an owner by assisting with profit & loss management, overseeing product preparation, analyzing financial performance, managing restaurant budget, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed. The qualifications for this position include previous management or 2+ years of customer service/fast food experience (highly preferred), a high school diploma or GED (highly preferred), reliable transportation, good communication skills, and the ability to pass background check criteria. The AGM must be safety-focused, punctual, team-oriented, respectful, and motivated. They must be open to work weekends and holidays as needed, arrive on time, follow procedures regarding operation of restaurant equipment, and adhere to company and safety requirements.
