Supervise and mentor team members in developing preplanning drawings, 2D markups, conduit routing, and conduit schedules using Bluebeam and BIM platforms. Ensure models are updated with as-built conditions throughout the project lifecycle. Champion adherence to IME Installation Standards and lead initiatives to drive consistency, efficiency, and innovation across teams. Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution Establish and enforce QA/QC standards for BIM-generated drawings, ensuring alignment with construction means and methods. Lead coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts, prioritize RFIs, and proactively address constructability issues before they impact schedule or cost. Elevate lessons learned into best practices to improve future project execution. Collaboration, Coordination & Leadership Act as the senior liaison between design teams, project management, field operations, BIM/VDC, Prefab, and clients. Facilitate collaboration across multiple disciplines, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Lead constructability meetings and serve as a decision-maker when trade-offs arise. Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to the team. Strategic Contribution & Continuous Improvement Contribute to company-wide constructability initiatives, refining processes, tools, and standards. Share feedback from the field to improve design coordination, prefab opportunities, and BIM utilization. Actively support the development of constructability training materials and mentor the next generation of constructability professionals. Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to lead discussions across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Willingness to travel to various construction sites and represent constructability leadership in the field. Impeccable integrity and professionalism with both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated Accomplishments in the Following Areas: Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam for preplanning, take-offs, and constructability markups. Proficiency or strong familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam) with ability to guide others in best practices. Expertise in interpreting and analyzing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals. Proven success in leading VDC/BIM coordination in an electrical contracting or general contracting environment. Deep understanding of electrical code, sequencing, and coordination practices. Experience leading constructability efforts on aviation, data center, higher education, and hospitality projects, preferred. Education and Experience: 10+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction, with strong field leadership background. Prior experience as a general foreman, superintendent, preconstruction leader, estimating manager, or design review leader, strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results across multiple concurrent projects. Working Conditions: The majority of the time you will work on construction job sites.
