Description The Front of House Supervisor responsibilities Include supervising FOH employees, scheduling, and enforcing policies, procedures and standards. Additionally, when needed, the FOH Supervisor will take orders, serve food and drinks, answer inquiries about the menu and generally comply with the wishes of the guests, as well as suggestively sell food and drinks. It is the FOH Supervisor's responsibility to manage the execution of and oversee all FOH operations, ensuring all standards of quality and service are met. In addition, it is their responsibility to continually develop employees through training and follow up, as well as manage scheduled shifts for appropriate coverage to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements Minimum 2-4 years restaurant waiting/supervising experience. Must be dressed neatly and well groomed in company approved attire/uniform at all times. Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer system, make changes correctly and make credit card transactions accurately. Knowledge of PC to fulfill closing/opening management functions. Must be able to carry large trays and plates with food and clear tables, which may require lifting up to 30lbs. Must be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a manager. Stands and walks during entire 6-8 hour shift. Must be able to read menu's to sight impaired guests. Able to reach, bend, stoop and perform cleaning duties. Must be able to verbalize menu items clearly to guests while taking their orders and responding to their requests. Must be able to hear amongst loud background noise.
