Overview
We are seeking a visionary and technically adept
Staff Manager Processor Product Manager
to lead the development and expansion of Qualcomms next-generation processing ecosystem. This role will drive strategic initiatives across AI, GPU, and emerging processor technologiesfrom cloud to edgeincluding hyperscale CPUs, RISC-V, AI accelerator, in-memory computing, and quantum computing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ecosystem development, partner engagement, and technical feedback that accelerate Qualcomms market penetration in new domains such as data centers and humanoid robotics. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or ecosystem development in the semiconductor or embedded systems industry. Proven experience with processor architectures (e.g., RISC-V, ARM, x86) and embedded toolchains. Strong understanding of AI/ML workloads, GPU compute, and edge/cloud infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams and provide actionable technical feedback. Business Development experience in application processor/SoCs or System Integration with Cloud/Edge devices Experience supporting PoCs and developer enablement initiatives. Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese. Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree or PhD in a technical discipline. Experience influencing or contributing to open-source communities and standards bodies. Established relationships with embedded toolchain vendors Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS platforms and cloud-native development. Experience working with academic institutions and leveraging research partnerships. Knowledge of safety standards such as SIL/ASIL and their application in processor transitions. Key Responsibilities
Build and scale a new Qualcomm processing ecosystem across AI, GPU, and novel processor technologies. Engage and influence embedded toolchain vendors to align with Qualcomms roadmap. Collect and synthesize technical requirements (e.g., RISC-V instruction sets) and relay them to internal engineering teams. Collaborate with IaaS/PaaS partners to ensure seamless integration and developer support. Define and execute Qualcomms contributions to open-source ecosystems. Support PoCs and hands-on developer experiences to validate and promote Qualcomm solutions. Establish and nurture relationships with academic institutions to drive innovation Applicants
