Product Data Management Engineer (Configuration And Data Management)
Cimarron is hiring a Product Data Management Engineer (Configuration and Data Management) to support the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) and Mission Systems teams on a DOD proprietary program in Albuquerque, NM. The successful candidate will lead Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) for the program, ensuring development, management, and compliance of process and product baselines for complex systems. Key Duties: Lead the implementation of Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) standards, processes, systems, and tools. Define and allocate CM/DM requirements for hardware, software, and engineering data systems throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure integration of product elements; analyze and resolve complex engineering product structure issues. Assign and maintain product and document identification. Support change control efforts, including ECPs, RFVs, ERBs, CCBs, CDs/CRs, audits, and status reports. Advise and collaborate with CM engineers on principles, practices, and compliance. Coordinate across the program to ensure CM/DM responsibilities and deliverables are met. Manage the change process to incorporate only approved and validated changes into product documents and hardware/software. Control baselines and prepare materials for release and distribution. Define and manage configuration status accounting (CSA) activities. Track problems and changes in product documents, hardware, and software; report on current configuration. Ensure proper archiving, release, and auditability of product documentation. Manage input and retrieval of data in the CM repository. Work with suppliers to ensure CM/DM requirements are included in SSOWs and SDRLs. Serve as the primary customer interface for CM/DM. Operate independently with minimal direction. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Active TS/SCI clearance. 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (PTC Windchill, ENOVIA, Teamcenter, etc.) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Experience with DOORS, Dassault MSOSA, Siemens Teamcenter, and Gitla. Knowledge of EIA-649-1 and/or MIL-HBK-61. Experience with complex electro-optical and/or optomechanical systems. Ability to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal networks.
