Google Cloud Practitioner Solutions Architect
We are seeking a Google Cloud Practitioner Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, remote opportunity. The role involves designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with business objectives. About Cognizant's CIS Practice: Cognizant's CIS (Cognizant Infrastructure Services) Practice is a global leader in providing IT infrastructure services. We deliver innovative solutions to optimize and transform IT infrastructure, ensuring business agility and operational efficiency. Our services include cloud computing, data center management, network services, and cybersecurity. We focus on understanding client needs and delivering customized solutions to drive business success. In this role, you will: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using GCP Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture strategies and cloud migration plans Lead technical discussions and create proof-of-concepts for cloud-based solutions Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities using tools like AutoML and AI Platform Ensure compliance with security and governance standards What you'll need to succeed (required skills): Proficiency in GCP services: Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Dataflow, Pub/Sub Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager) Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Scripting skills in Python and Bash At Cognizant, we're eager to meet people who believe in our mission and can make an impact in various ways! Salary and Other Compensation: The salary range for this role is between $114,000 and $133,500 depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cogniant's applicable plans.
