Lead Software Engineer

Employer: Epsilon Data Management LLC Job Title: Lead Software Engineer Job Location: 35 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601. Required to work from Company Office (Chicago, IL) certain days per week. Telecommuting allowed for balance of week. Job Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: $148,949 per year Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to, the individuals skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Convert UX designs mock-ups and wireframes into interactive and responsive IQ functionality. Collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners and developers to ensure that the user interface meets functional requirements and user expectations. Mentor and collaborate other UI developers. Conduct code reviews to ensure that the team adheres to best practices and maintains high-quality code standards. Write unit and functional tests to ensure individual components of the user interface function. Work on multiple POCs as per the project requirement. Address and resolve bugs or UI raised by QA teams, users or team members. Monitor, profile and optimize UI performance to ensure smooth user interactions and fast page loading times. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field followed by eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Experience must include one year of experience in each of the following: Angular/AngularJS JavaScript Typescript Springboot Rest API ReactJs/RXjs HTML CSS MongoDB Accessibility Charting Libraries Responsive Designs/Cross Browser Development for Backbone Required to work from Company Office (Chicago, IL) certain days per week.
