J C Porter Construction is interested in hiring a qualified Project Administrator to support commercial construction projects. This position involves various responsibilities essential for project management and contract administration.
Job Details:
Salaried position with full benefits; specific details provided in the offer letter.
Approximately 40 hours per week, generally from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; hours may vary based on workload.
Minimal travel required, including trips to job sites, permit offices, mailing facilities, and delivery of submittals to architects and customers' offices.
Projects:
Assist Project Managers in organizing and producing:
Meeting minutes
Organizing and distributing drawings
Setting up job files
Managing RFIs
Maintaining submittal logs
Processing submittals
Preparing job-specific paperwork
Assembling Operations and Maintenance Manuals
Filing and collecting permits
Handling AIA Billings, including AR and AP input
Entering budgets, change orders, and subcontract information into Foundations
Contract Management:
Producing subcontract agreements (content responsibility lies with PM)
Producing owner agreements (content responsibility lies with PM)
Creating change orders for owners and subcontractors (content responsibility lies with PM)
Entering executed change orders into Foundations
Invoicing:
Producing owner invoices (content responsibility lies with PM)
Receiving and tracking subcontractor/vendor invoices; approval responsibility lies with PM
