DVS is actively seeking a .NET Developer - Intermediate to support our team onsite in Huntsville, AL. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain. Key Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, candidate will perform full lifecycle application development, designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages. Will also provide support in requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis. Must be familiar with: Front end graphical user interface design, software testing and quality assurance, performance tuning and improvement. Displays the ability and creativity to analyze problems and implement advanced software solutions. Required Qualifications: Full lifecycle application development Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages (current version of Visual Studio using C#, with some client-side JavaScript, and jQuery with jQuery-UI). Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis. Familiar with relational database concepts including: table design, proper indexing, and use of stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server. Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) Front end graphical user interface design using Web Forms technology. Software testing and quality assurance Support, maintain, and document software functionality Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation Maintain standards compliance Implement localization or globalization of software Physical and Mental Qualifications: Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours. Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard. Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language. Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes. Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
