Locums - Bloomington, Illinois, Cardiac Electrophysiologist Job
Clinical Role:
Locum Tenens opening
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist
Must hold an active Illinois medical license
Position Highlights:
Provide consistent coverage and support for a rapidly growing cardiac surgery and structural heart program
Coverage needed due to anticipated departure of current EP physician - ensuring uninterrupted access to electrophysiology services
Mix of clinic, ambulatory procedures, and inpatient call coverage
EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities:
Deliver inpatient and outpatient EP services
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including:
Pacemaker and ICD insertion, revision, replacement, and removal
Cardiac rhythm conversion
Electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablations
Watchman device implantation
Loop recorder implantation/removal
Consult on patients under hospitalist and ICU services
Collaborate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients
