Position Description Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a world-renowned scientific research organization located on the North Shore of Long Island is hiring a hardworking individual for the position of Utility/Dishwasher.
Position Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position would include cleaning of dishes and other food-related items, sanitization of food prep areas, and other general cleaning activities necessary to maintain a cleanly environment.
Position Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
PHYSICAL: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending and stretching. ENVIRONMENTAL: Work environment can be seasonally hot & humid. Some exposure to cold in walk-in freezer, some exposure to out-of-doors conditions and noise. PSYCHOLOGICAL: Pressure due to peak workload period

Compensation
The hourly rate for this role is $16.89- $18.98. The hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
