Job Description Summary
This job focuses on leveraging data to derive insights that align with the product’s shared vision and customer needs. It involves gathering customer experience insights to inform product requirements and analyzing research, market data, and usability studies for data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include monitoring product development, leading sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure effective execution, and collaborating with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and stakeholders to uncover new opportunities. This job is an individual contributor role focused on solving problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Technical Roadmap: Define and execute the product strategy for the Enterprise Payment processing gateway (Braintree gateway) platform, ensuring it aligns with PayPal's overarching business goals and consumer engagement initiatives.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and able to perform network integrations like VI/MC/Amex/Discover/others and have in-depth knowledge of Payment life cycle, PFAC/ISO messages. Able to write detailed JIRA/EPIC/Agile methods to drive execution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, data science, compliance, and engineering teams to integrate identity and account linking technologies into PayPal's ecosystem.
- Market and Industry Analysis: Analyze market trends and advancements in identity management, including developments in Gateway processing, Fees calculation, data mapping and able to pull data and drive results (SQL, BigQuery, Excel, Looker or similar tools).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product vision and technical concepts effectively to leadership, partners, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and driving adoption of new account linking initiatives.

- Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies to support data-driven decision making.
- Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
- Lead sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution. Interfaces with product leadership as needed.
- Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The total compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
