Overview
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Chief Software Architect for a Tier 1 automotive client to lead the technical strategy for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and safety-critical control modules. This is a unique chance to shape the software architecture behind next-generation vehicle platforms, working at the cutting edge of mobility innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive a unified software architecture spanning ADAS sensors (cameras, radar, LiDAR, thermal, ultrasonics), domain controllers, and control modules.
- Lead multi-sensor fusion strategies and oversee integration into scalable perception stacks.
- Champion centralized compute platforms (e.g., NVIDIA DRIVE, Thor) and OTA-enabled system architectures.
- Ensure alignment with key automotive standards (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO 21434).
- Partner with OEMs and business leadership to influence roadmaps and customer specifications.
- Provide technical leadership to global software and systems engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years in automotive or high-reliability embedded software.
- Proven leadership in ADAS / perception systems and safety-critical control modules.
- Hands-on expertise with compute platforms, sensor fusion, and system-defined vehicle architectures.
- Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO 21434.
- Strong strategic thinker and communicator, able to balance technical rigor with customer responsiveness.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related.
