We’re a dynamic and consistently growing MEP consulting firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering design services. We are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team and lead the design and coordination of plumbing systems from concept to construction.

What You’ll Do

  • Use Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revitto design plumbing systems for a wide range of building types.
  • Perform calculations to size sanitary sewer and vent, potable water, natural gas, and storm water pipingand associated systems per plumbing codes.
  • Design complete plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, storm drain, and gas piping.
  • Select and specify plumbing fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Prepare plumbing equipment schedulesand construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, civil engineers, and other tradesto ensure seamless integration.
  • Coordinate utility points of connectionto and from buildings with the civil engineer.
  • Ensure designs comply with local codes, Title-24, and green building standards (e.g., CALGreen).
  • Obtain permits by coordinating with local building and safety plan checkers and attending verification meetings.
  • Respond to RFIsand review submittals during the construction administration phase.
  • Attend design coordination meetings and perform field site visitsas required.

What We’re Looking For

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
  • Collaborative mindset and client-first approach.
  • 3–5 years of experience in building plumbing design (MEP).
  • Note: Academic coursework will NOT be considered as experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; REVIT preferred.
