The Senior Financial Analyst - Expense Transformation will join the Capital and Productivity Reporting team within Northern Trust’s Finance Organization. This role is responsible for enterprise-wide Productivity reporting, a key NorthTT pillar, and collaborates with colleagues across businesses and functions. The position also responds to ad-hoc leadership requests and participates in process-improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Productivity reporting monthly for the enterprise.
- Mature Productivity reporting into PowerBI.
- Understand and articulate changes to the Productivity forecast as a result of changes to business cases.
- Partner with the Productivity Office, businesses and functions in a consulting capacity related to Productivity initiatives and benefits.
- Brainstorm cost levers to implement in conjunction with the Productivity Office.
- Prepare both planned and ad hoc reports for executives.
- Identify automation opportunities in day-to-day responsibilities.
Knowledge
- Strong analytical skills.
- 7+ years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Advanced Excel skills are critical.
- Advanced Power BI skills are desired.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize and distill important information via presentation to executive leadership.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Salary Range
- $83,100 - 141,300 USD
- Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. The company also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
