Overview
Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MDG Consultant . You will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson/Houston, TX or Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ or Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA or Lisle, IL or be willing to relocate to any of these locations.
The job entails extensive travel and sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Responsibilities
- Be a key player in the consulting team and SME contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.
- Lead business process consulting; define problems, propose and create solutions.
- Develop, configure and deploy the overall SAP MDG solution.
- Guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to proposal development, client training and internal capability building.
- Help detail the project scope and shape value-adding consulting solutions for clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications
- Work with technical teams to develop future state solution architecture to support the MDG implementation.
- Execution of all phases of MDG implementation.
- Develop solution/design recommendations for data modelling, integration, and synchronization mechanisms.
- Share perspectives on best practices, common technical issues and approaches.
- Hands-on configurations on SAP MDG framework for data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+.
- Translate business requirements into technical specification documents.
- Expertise with SAP MDG configurations and replication configurations.
- Experience in UI modelling (design and creation of UI, value restriction, navigation elements, data quality, validations and derivations).
- Technical knowledge of MDG workflows, UI Field Property Changes and ERP tables.
- Full life cycle implementation including blueprinting, fit/gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers and go-live experience.
- Preparation and execution of SIT Test Scripts per Functional spec requirements.
- Data replication framework experience (IDocs, RFC and Web Services).
- Experience with MDG development/customizations for data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+, replication configurations.
- Hands-on development for MDG including ABAP, WDABAP, MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, BRF+ configurations.
- FPM and UI customizations; data replication framework customizations; knowledge of MDG APIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong English proficiency.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to manage large implementation teams; onsite/offshore coordination.
- Project planning and status management in AGILE – Scrum environments; experience with defect tracking tools (Dynamics, RevTracks, JIRA).
- Experience with ECC and/or S/4HANA; familiarity with SAP modules like MM/SD is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The job offers an estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in listed locations (e.g., Lisle, IL: $118,446 to $153,980).
