This highly regarded Transactional Tax group is seeking a mid-level to Senior Associate (minimum of four years) to join its San Francisco team. You’ll work on high-value, multi-jurisdictional transactions , gaining exposure to complex cross-border tax structuring and international M&A for a diverse, global client base – all within a supportive, career-building environment .

The Role

As a key member of the Transactional Tax practice, you will:

  • Advise on international M&A and tax planning matters, including cross-border structuring and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
  • Assist with intragroup restructurings and other sophisticated corporate tax issues.
  • Work closely with partners, clients, and advisors to deliver practical, strategic tax solutions.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the practice, taking on increasing responsibility and client contact as you progress.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally, minimum of four years’ experience in transactional tax matters at a reputable law firm or accounting firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise in international M&A, cross-border tax structuring, and corporate tax planning.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the California Bar (or ability to waive in).
